Albania October

Does anyone have any insight into the current situation in Albania ?
I have a few days booked there in October, have never been before so was looking forward to going.
It has never been off the FCO "Naughty List" but from what I can garner the prevalence of Covid 19 does not seem to be that high with only a few hundred deaths.

Most people live in Tirana and the coastal towns close by. Drive inland and it's very remote. Interesting country. Friendly people.0

Number of cases is low but it is rising quite significantly.0

Thanks for the heads up - do people feel the situation will change by October (7/8 Weeks away the trip)
I mean with regard to FCO Advice and Quarantine requirements.0 -

Luckily it's a package with BA so my options are quite flexible.
Guess Deutschland would probably be a safe bet if I have to change it. Fancy seeing the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, never been to that part of the Country.
Or possibly Lithuania, Latvia or Estonia they seem to be near the "bottom of the league". Or maybe Slovenia never been there.0 -

As I booked the Albanian Adventure with an FCO Warning already in place I have to give them 3 weeks notice to cancel.
Knowing my luck I will change it and the week after the FCO will change the advice.
However due to BA's flexibility if that actually happened I could cancel the replacement and reinstate the original with no penalty.
Try doing that with LM.com !!0 -
