Equifax data range

Hey everyone,
Sorry for the numerous threads over the last couple of days, lots and lots of questions as I learn more each day. My question is this; I used checkmyfile today and noticed when comparing the 3 CRA's that Equifax only holds data for all of my accounts for four years. Is that right? I thought it might be a mistake but Equifax, (through their website) Credit Wise and ClearScore only show the last four years too - data is literally up the month so shows data from August 2016 - July 2020, nothing before this. Seems strange as I thought everything stayed for six years minimum. Experian and Transunion both show details for the last six years. Thanks again guys

If you’re that concerned about it then raise a dispute/query with Equifax0

It could be that the lender in question has only been reporting data to Equifax since Aug 2016, whereas they have been reporting to Experian and Transunion for longer.0

Just register with Equifax and get a free statutory report (it is instant).
Mine goes back 6 years. In fact it includes account that was closed within 6 years so the data goes beyond that. I have an account that was closed in 2015 and the data shown goes all the way back to 2010.1 -
