Got what I needed and some YS grapes so pleased. I looked in my away case and sure enough had a can of deodorant in there so saves an immediate spend.
Finished up the carrot cake.
£2.67 left until Sat. Sausage Pasta planned for plus one tomorrow, frozen greggs sausage rolls and salad for me as use ups. Think may have to change the shop from Saturday to Friday which is OK just means the lasagne stays in the freezer so there will only be 6 items/3 meals left in there.
Hope everyone OK

DD has just come back from holiday in Dorset and she has gone foraging with her partner today, she is going to get me some more blackberries and apples plus anything else she can grab lol.
She has a neat app on her phone that identifies plants so she has a whale of a time.
Kale is doing well and I spotted some cauli, spinach and Broccoli coming up too
Sent DH down to Wilko to get some dog food today and he spent £10 but that included doggy treats and poop bags as well.
Then I needed some bits in Farmfoods so off he went with his list, must admit he added some stuff but they were bargains like 4 packs of Stork marge for £1 saw it in Morrisons for 90p each.......... eek! Butter is only 99p so he picked up 4 of them as well all sitting in the freezer, plus 2 packs of 750g mince at £2.99 each which I have split into 4 meals, he also picked up 3 packs of 10 large eggs which are only 69p and some sugar 2 bags for £1 and he used £2 in coupons Total spend in both shops was £35.86
Total spend so far this month now stands at £81.46.
But the last two weeks of the month will just be for basics because I have prepared 30 meals that are now sitting in the freezer because I won't be able to cook for a while, DH or DS just has to get them out in the morning and heat them up when they get home depending on who is home first.
Got the reminder for car insurance and it has gone up yet again grrr. It doesn't run out until 10th October so they can wait until DH gets paid on the 27th.
Chicken Fajitas and salad tonight ..........YUM
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

I'm planning a big shop tonight (though when I say big shop, I mean like £30 max!). L*DL have this new app, i'm not sure if people have seen it. You get £5 off your first £25 or-over spend and also coupons every week, I held off going last night even though that means a liquid lunch today (I wish of gin but alas it will only be a protein shake!). I sometimes find it difficult to spend that much but i'm hoping to get some bits and bits for our upcoming house move and some extra cleaning bits too, so hopefully that should bump up the price a little.
We only have 2 weeks left for our monthly allowance as we're going pay day to pay day so i'm a bit shocked at how little we've spent so far!
Happy Thursday everyone!Officially a homeowner 🥳🥳

Budgets updated to here
@PipneyJane well done on your amazing surplus! I've updated your budget
@sarahj1986 welcome back!
@zafiro1984 no problem - I tend to leave names on for a few months or if they are regulars, even if they don't declare for a bit - it just makes it a bit quicker and easier for me doing the budgets!
@taka welcome back!
@VickyV welcome!
@Pixiehouse55 - £300
€44.14 spent today
I’ve bought some meat, salad stuff, veg, fruit, eggs, frozen bits, crate of beer for my husband, pasta, bin bags, milk, big block of spanish cheese and cheddar cheese. This should do us a week although I need to go back in tomorrow to get water and some fizzy pop. I couldn’t carry it all in one go.€305.86 left
picked up water and mozzy plug in as I’m being eaten alive. I do get bitten anyway but even more so now there’s no tourists round.€297.86 left
€11.09 in Mercadona and €45.01 in Aldi
Mercadona small shop because we’ve moved further away from them and there is a few items I like to get from there. We were up that way so stocked upAldi was a top up on fruit, potatoes, milk, yogurts, Porridge, sugar, chicken on offer, nappies, fizzy pop and beer for my husband. Shouldn’t need to go back in there until mid next week for more fresh items. They’ve changed the offer days and there’s things I want to buy on Wednesday so I’ll be able to hold out until then.Edit - got a slow cooker from a charity shop yesterday. They are incredibly expensive here so it was a snatch. Bring on the colder months for stews€241.76
fruit, veg, milk, breakfast items, chocolate, cakes and a few other items.€193.56 left
i have a question for you all -
my father in law has offered to take my husband shopping and buy us a big shop. We aren’t struggling financially that bad just yet. My husband issue back on the Spanish furlong scheme but I think his dad is worried it might take time to come through and just wants to help out with things like nappies, long life items etc. Should I count this spend too? What would you all do?:money::rotfl::T7
