Smile Direct Club UK - Incomplete Service

Hi I was just wondering if anyone with better Consumer Rights knowledge than me could offer me some advice please..
I paid £1500 up front for clear aligners from Smile Direct Club, all started well my retainers arrived quickly and I got started. However, when I finished the treatment my teeth weren't straight, I contacted them and they agreed I needed further aligners - sent them new impression kits and had the order confirmed.
They gave me a 4-5 week timeframe for delivery. It has now been 7 and a half weeks and each time I ask on their online chat I get a very generic 'we are very busy at this time please allow further time for your retainers to arrive'. The last chat I had with someone I was informed they have been dedicating part of their factory to making face shields to help with the Coronavirus outbreak - I have no problem with that but I've had no communication from them to state that this is the case and that I should expect a delay in my retainers so I don't see how this is acceptable while I'm £1500 out of pocket and my so called 'smile journey' is far from complete.
Am I within my rights to take this further and demand some/all my money back? I'm so disappointed. They post their up to date accounts on their website and for 2 quarter's this year they have posted significant losses, can't help but feel a little concerned with this along with growing bad reviews on Trustpilot.
Thanks in advance, Katie
