Which card to use abroad

The curve card reroutes the transaction to whatever card is underlying. So in the app you set up the card you want it to recharge to, and when you pay with your curve card, it recharges it to the selected payment method. So for example, I would set it to recharge it to my hilton barclaycard when I go to Germany. I'd then pay using my Curve card which doesn't charge FX fees and it would be recharged to my Hilton Card, and I'd earn Hilton points but not pay the 3% fee I'd usually have to pay for using my card abroad.
