When care homes open in wales does it include hospitals.

It maybe classed as a hospital but if one of the patients have any emergency they will take you to the main hospital 8 miles away. The part he's in is for patients waiting for placement in nursing or residential care homes and direct admission from home so typically it's classed as a care home.mattyprice4004 said:It's still a hospital, so other residents will be more susceptible than the average care home resident.
It's all about risk assessment, someone with a good knowledge of what this hospital does has deemed it too high risk to allow visitors, whereas in care homes they're at less of a risk.
At the end of the day, without meaning to sound rude you don't really sound like you know the difference between the two places - so it's best just to accept you won't be able to visit just yet and instead look forward to when you can.
Hopefully it won't be too long

What do you mean “typically classed as a Care home”?By whom? It’s not a care home. It’s part of a hospital for patients waiting to be discharged.0

It sounds like intermediate care which does have some similarities with care homes but as the name suggests is more like a halfway point between a that and a hospital. They are usually run snd staffed by the hospital trust.Welsh_and_proud said:

I think its unlikely they will allow visitors except in exceptional circumstances.1 -
Yes its all about risk assessment. We should consider all the
factors before making any decision. -3 -
Are they allowing garden or window visits at all?All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0
