Hi
I am due to begin training for a new job in 3 weeks having been made redundant in May due to the coronavirus. My child currently attends nursery for the free hours two days a week and will increase to 5 days to cover my work.
I need to pay the month upfront which is around £510 before he begins his increased hours in three weeks.
Having never been on any sort of benefit before im unsure of one when do I update than I am working and 2 when do I apply for the payment for the month I need to pay upfront for him to begin the full days?
I understand I need to pay it upfront, do I just pay it then send the receipt stating ill be beginning within the next few weeks. I need to do a week training before beginning my post.
Thanks

Man you lot are a kind bunch... thanks
I didn't understand whether they will pay the childcare before I begin if I haven't posted a start date as I am waiting to hear if its in 3 weeks or 4 I begin work so don't have confirmed start date however I need to pay his nursery fees in advance and give 3 weeks notice to change and increase his days.0 -
They won't pay the chioldcare until you start working and then it's paid in arrears, which was explained in your previous thread.
