your solicitor should have sent you a new land registry document with your name added on to it, when this was done.  did you not get that document?
I did not receive that document. I was very busy at refurbishing the property since last November and forgot to check with the solicitor. I took for granted that she would just complete the registration.
she would complete the registration after you have completed on the property.   the new document normally gets sent to you about a month after completion.

did you check the land registry document on here?
Yes I checked via this address. She emailed me that she would pay stamp duty and register title on my behalf after the purchase was completed, but I did not hear from her since then. I might just wait until tomorrow and see what she replies.

that is very strange.  did you buy the house with a mortgage or did you pay in cash?  if you had a mortgage, she would have sent the new title to your lender as well.

it would be reasonable to give solicitors 2 weeks to reply to your email.  so give her at least a week to reply before you start getting too upset.  if the solicitors is bona fide, you should be fine as they are heavily regulated in the UK.
I paid by mortgage. Indeed, it is very strange that she does not complete title registration.
The vendor sold the four properties in one building at one time to four different buyers. I checked their title deeds and surprisingly found that only one title was changed.
if you had a mortgage, then the solicitors would be bona fide, as the mortgage company would not send money to a fake solicitor.  but something obviously has gone wrong so hopefully your solicitor will be able to sort it out.

Ah, that sounds like it might not be a straightforward registration of an existing title. If it's a split-off from a larger title, or a new lease, then that takes longer to register. And if it's a leasehold title you'd also have to check that you're not looking at the freeholder's title rather than yours.

Last time I bought a property it was 7 months before the change of ownership ended up on LR, and that was before loads of staff were furloughed.....
