Mortgage Co hasn't added my mortgage to my credit file

Options
My 2 year fixed term mortgag with HSBC ends this month. HSBC has failed to add the mortgage to my credit file. Credit file is good on some and fair in others, so I have been trying to improve it by getting HSBC to amend my record. Been trying since June and despite many phone calls and emails, they have 2 months later, still not added it. Ironically/frustratingly, they have confirmed that not having their mortgage on my file may impact on their decision to approve a new mortgage from them. I am running out if time to get a good deal. At their suggestion, I have triggered the complaints process but found this adds another layer of beurocracy and delay. They reply in an ad-hoc way, if at all. They are really pleasant but ineffectual, and my deadline for renewing is less than 2 weeks away. Any advice? Similar experiences?
Thanks

Have you checked all 3 of your credit files?

What do you mean by "Credit file is good on some and fair in others, so I have been trying to improve it" - i do hope you're not referring to the CRA's score/rating on you, since that is irrelvant to anything.

Did not even know companies can add mortgages etc to credit files.

Always assumed it was the credit ref agencies.

    So sorry cannot advise

How do you think they get onto your credit files?
The lender (company) reports it to the CRA's.....

Then how did you think credit accounts get added onto your credit report?

Assumed they reported them to the credit agencies not able to add them to the reports themselves but thanks now know.

Right, because they won't bother looking at the data they hold on you and will just look at your credit files...

You were speaking to an idiot, it happens but nothing to get worked up over.

Surely demonstrating that I'm a home owner with no missed payments will help though?

Yes,  I was referring to the CRA's score/rating, which  I thought played a crucial part in mortgage company decision-making.  Is this not the case?

No. It's something only you see, purely for entertainment purposes.

Lenders will give you a score based on their own criteria.

I thought being able to demonstrate that I'm a home owner with a good track record of making all mortgage payments was something to get worked up over, but thank you for your comment.
