Hi,
After Easyjet cancelled my flights I applied for a refund, 07 July. They emailed me several times and on 1st August advised by email that my refund had been processed and the money refunded to my card and would show up on my account within 10 working days. This money has never arrived, the bank says there is no transaction they havent seen it. i have called easyjet several times and get nowhere. they either just repeat it was paid on 01 Aug 2020 and to wait a few more days or one said its probably sitting with finance and could take 30 days.
I have emailed them but have no reply, I dont know what to do next. Any help?

Be patient - continually ring them won't urge their process and just cause you stress.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill1

I understand that things are taking a while but they emailed ME and advised they had paid the refund my problem is it hasnt showed up. They said it will show in my account within 10 days from 1st August. its now 20th August. I cant do a chargeback either as Easyjet say they have paid the refund. Im getting nowhere0

Appears that you have been told that it's in finance and could take 30 days. Far nearer the truth I'd say. As will be working through a backlog.0

I am waiting longer to see if it appears but I have been told different things depending on who answers the call. My issue is why tell me in an email it has been processed and paid into my account on 1st Aug and will be with me in 10 days if this isnt true??? Surely this just causes more calls and emails to easyjet if this is what they are doing??
my concern is there has been a mistake inputting the data and is lost somewhere. How long do I wait before I chase again. 30 days?

I have the same issue as you Scotdee. I had an email from Easyjet on 12/8 saying my refund will be issued in 10 days (though their statement shows refund on 12/8 as per their paperwork). As of today, its still not pending in my bank. So I started the Chargeback process to find RBS bank states, the guys on the phone were great, but it might take a while!0 -

Just had a shouting match with Easyjet, saying I will need to show MY RBS bank statement to prove the monies were not in my bank account as on 12/8/20, told him Easyjet are scammers!. So glad RBS are now doing a Charge back. I WILL NEVER USE EASYET EVER AGAIN!

Hi I called again and they are looking into it, I have a case number and have sent them a copy of statement with only last 4 numbers of cc etc. See what happens next.0
