you have not answered when the flight was....compensation may not be due (we are not currently in normal times).
How far in advance was the flight cancelled? was this a flight only or a package holiday?
  • my flight was supposed to be 24th feb at 12.00pm but got cancelled  did not fly due to sand storms eventually flew the next day at 8.00 am
  • we got told on sun the 23rd not to go to the airport for our flight on the 24th then got email later that day letting us know we were flying the next morning at 8.00am

I am guessing Jet2 will call extraordinary circumstances meaning no compensation due

it does appear other airlines were operating....what do EIclaim and bottonline say regarding your flight?

There is no compensation payable if the reason for the delay was the weather, that is clearly outside the control of the airline. You can check by putting your flight details into eu-claims.com but it's not looking good
