Shell Broadband offer or stick with TalkTalk - please help me choose!

My £19.95/month 18-month Faster Fibre with TalkTalk ends on 14 September. Through this site, I signed up with Shell Energy Broadband 38Mbps at £24.95/month less £120 credit after three months on a 12-month contract, meaning £15 a month for a year. Naturally (although this was not offered when I rang TalkTalk before switching, just like 18 months ago), TalkTalk has written to me, offering £19.95/month again but for 24 months.
These are both attractive offers. Which should I choose? I need to decide in the next few days.

Personally I wouldn't switch if your current service is OK - Always worry about these promised promotional credits/Mastercard deals - too many seem to fail.0

Does TT have a decent router re wifi as opposed to Shell ??

The other thing to consider is whether your home phone number is important - quite a few people seem to be having difficulties porting phone numbers away from TT.0

As others have already said, you may well end up with a technically worse service on Shell in your quest to save a few pennies each month. If it ain't broke...0

Shell broadband be careful here if you follow mse link she'll will give you a new phone number then when you call to port it they will only do so if you pay an extra 8 to 10 pound per month then they blame your provider for not allowing them to port your number then after contacting current provider they tell me its shell broadband not porting number a con really if you want to keep your number you have to pay standard rates0
