indeed, do you know if you have to order a new Flex plan card or the one I already have is enough?Highland76 said:
But the Flex plan is NOT PAYG.almanak said:
well, I am paying now monthly as well by renewing my pack each month, no signs of putting me on a standard plan.Highland76 said:
Its a no credit check plan where you pay a fixed amount each month (in advance?), no idea if they actually send you monthly bills. But given that you don't want a credit search (= unable to take out regular EE sim only plan), the flex plan might be your best bet if you want to go with EE direct. I imagine EE might let you upgrade to a regular sim only plan after X months once you build some sort of history with them on their Flex plan.almanak said:@Highland76 is Flex plan aactually a plan, are they sending bills?

Hi @molerat, is the plan with them actually on your credit report and are they charging on time as there are several topics on line about how they can spoil your credit history due to problems with the mentioned.molerat said:Plusnet https://www.plus.net/mobile/sim-only-30-day No signs of a search on my record and they do report accounts.0 -
Do you already have a BT landline phone? If so then get BT mobile. (BT own EE)1

EE class the Flex plan as PAYG.I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂1

thanks, I wouldn't be surprised as generally seems there are a lot of technical problems. I would love to know if they actually improved because I know for sure there were some problems around more than a year ago.
I thin the suggestion is that plusnet has a problem with texts such as the ones that come from banks with short confirmation numbers.
