Later LG TVs , latest firmware 05.20.03 causing certain apps to crash

Since the latest firmware update the above (and possibly others ) will black screen or fail to load video . Apparently something to do with certificates .
Allegedly LG aware and working on a fix .
Doesn't seem to affect earlier models but there doesn't yet seem to be a list of affected TVs.
Nothing seems to cure the problem , no way to downgrade firmware , deleting and reinstalling the apps has no affect , even a full factory reset does nothing .

Does anyone know if this has been patched? I am still on 05.20.03 and still have the problem. I have had no pop-up to advise that a software update is available.I'm a bit dubious about switching on automatic updates.Thanks.0

Am on 05.20.03 and no consistent problems. Had a brief issue with Netflix not starting correctly, but uninstalling and reinstalling resolved it.0
