Monzo Customer Service

  • I've had a monzo account for a few years now and have had no issues either.  I really like the app.  They've been ok to contact as well.  Whereas Santander - useless bank that never want to let you transfer money to anyone.
  • I have been with Monzo and Santander for a few years. No issues with either.

    Lucky me, I suppose 🤷‍♂️

This survey isn't asking about customer service. It's asking about overall service which in my mind encompasses customer judgement of all aspects of the experience of using that bank.

I suspect smaller/niche banks which excel in a specific area will tend to do well on an "overall service" survey of existing customers because a large proportion of their customers will have sought out the bank specifically for the feature they excel at and will tend to overweight that feature in their overall service judgement. For example First Direct customers will tend to overweight telephone banking and not pay too much attention to limitations elsewhere whilst Monzo customers will tend to overweight app quality and not pay too much attention to limitations elsewhere.

In contrast customers of the bigger banks are more likely to have become customers for no particular reason other than there's a branch nearby and perhaps have a more rounded view of overall service which is less conducive to an extremely high opinion of the bank.

"Results are only published where at least 100 customers have provided an eligible score for that service in the survey period."
Which really makes it very reliable and accurate!
To be fair, they aim for at least a thousand responses per bank (and surveyed 19,141 in total) in Great Britain - as with any other survey it's not perfect but it would seem reasonably representative....

I don't have a Facebook account, but I'll have a look. Banks don't steal money.
Obviously, but that is the name of the page. Not all the members will be money launderers! Most are likely to be innocent but have had their money taken.
And the Pope is a Protestant. Unfortunately young people are victims as much as being complicit.

The app banks appear to have fairly unsophisticated AML systems and freeze fairly readily too
