PIP TRIBUNAL WON!

So I won my pip tribunal on the 7th of August. Spoke to DWP on the 11th they said they have received the tribunal award. Spoke to DWP again today (17th August) the lady on the phone said a note had been put on my account saying the claim had been approved and would be processed but she unfortunately couldn’t give me a time frame. Has this happened to anyone else? How long roughly should it be before I receive backpay, monthly payments and my award letter from DWP. Am currently waiting on 14 months of backpay!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you 😊

Great news. Backdated money can take between 2-8 weeks and the same amount of time to put your award into payment. Before they pay your money they'll contact you asking you to confirm bank details and whether you've been in hospital in the past, all this is standard procedure after a Tribunal win.

DWP sent in their evidence on 17th of June. I got the tribunal hearing date on the 27th.
Tribunal was held on the 7th of August and I received the decision on the 11th August. But I originally made my claim on the 26th of June 2019! So been waiting over a year now but it pays off to persist!2 -

Since Covid19 current waiting times for hearing on average is 32 weeks from the time you request the Tribunal. Of course this is average but definitely a lot less than it was before Covid.

Does anyone know how long after speaking to the DWP and giving them the bank details and hospital/prison stays etc it takes for backpay to clear?0

DWP sent evidence to ours on 15 Aug, but yet to receive it here. (no surprise there) so can not respond to what they said, but have plenty of evidence already sent in.
I will not give up. But may just lose the will lo live in the mean time 😂Life in the slow lane0 -

That's another of those "how long is a piece of string questions" wait a week and if you haven't received payment in your bank then ring them. Although i do note that your Tribunal decision was only 7 working days ago, so it could be a few weeks yet.

They are moving quite fast as your Tribunal decision wasn't really that long ago. I know you're waiting for the backdated money but at the moment there's nothing else you can do but wait. The money will most likely appear in your bank before you receive the letter.
