Guidance states payment will be made within 6 working days.
So if you made the claim Tuesday night you *should* get the payment Tuesday or Wednesday next week

Its free money that people have not worked for. A hand out.
Don't think its a big deal the amount of time we have to wait. I thought most of the grants were fairly quick on being handed out.

Its not a free hand out, it has to be declared on the 2020/21 Tax Return and so there are tax and self employed NIC contributions to pay.

You may have to pay tax on it at some point but its still a free hand out.  The gov never had to give it out.
Some of us will pay no tax on it at all , due to folding/lack if business  or good management. (just because you pay tax on something does not mean its not a hand out lol )
