In that case it is overvalued as a housing association in the back garden devalues the house. I know that is a snobby thing to say but I am afraid I think it is true.1

I actually live closer to the same river now and it’s not a problem, it’s sunken with the land around much higher so we haven’t had any issues with insurance / purchasing existing home.
