    It's because you are adding your comment inside the quote box.
    You need to add a comment that is at least ten characters long outside the quote box.

    I'm having the same problem. I have inserted my replies to questions within the quote. Now I can't access a space to write outside the thread, so I get the 'not enough characters' comment. I can't delete and start again either.
