Selling mobile with cracked back cover - Replace or not?
I have a samsung s10 plus which has a cracked back cover. I checked online and i can get anywhere between £330 - £350 in 'good' working condition and £ 180 - £220 in working condition but with the cracked back.
I bought a replacement 3rd party back cover online, but noticed that on the original cover the Serial Number and IMEI is actually printed faintly at the bottom. (You have to strain your eyes to see it). On the 3rd party cover it has a fake S/N and IMEI.
Would samsung recycle/music magpie etc check if it is an original back cover? Not sure if that will cause issues or not.
Should i go ahead and go to the trouble to replace it and if they notice and care i can think about taking their revised offer.
