Moving house with Sky while still in contract

Hi
I currently have Sky FTTC with no TV and only basic phone line. I get about 35Mb download speed.
I am moving house and the speed availability checker tells me that the new house can't have FTTC so it will have to be ADSL with a speed of around 10Mb.
My question is, if Sky tell me they can't provide the same broadband connection at my new house that I have at my current address can I cancel without penalty and get Virgin instead?
Thanks

Best to speak to Sky but see 10(c)(iii) which refers to 4(b)(ii) in Terms & Conditions which may be helpful to avoid 'broadband' early termination charges.

Although Sky fibre may not be available at your new address, Sky line rental & telephone service is available.....
ie. no termination charges for broadband, but there may be charges for the phone.

Your contract is to supply services at the current address not any address .Not able to supply in another location is not a get out .Valid contract how much to pay off remaining months versus any deals for any ISP at new home .0

If the box is full they cannot supply services.

Basics are that your existing contract is valid at your current address .You do not have a contract for any other place ,you pay the balance of this contract off if leaving .Sky can offer you a deal that does not need you to pay off your current contract .Its your choice to cancel current contract and pay it off .0

As bill888 has already pointed out - and has been mentioned in other threads - not with Sky broadband if clause 10(c)(iii) applies.JJ_Egan said:Basics are that your existing contract is valid at your current address .You do not have a contract for any other place ,you pay the balance of this contract off if leaving .
