Just a thought - this probably won't work, as it relies on Next not having a very good authentication system.

BUT could one of the people that has the VIP booking button hover over it, and see what the URL is ? There is a tiny chance that the URL would work for those of us that don't have the button, althought it probably won't as if they are sensible they will validate your account as you try to access the URL.

Looking at the other buttons on the account page, they are in the format:

redirect_customerprofiles.asp?page=PAY

with different values ater the 'page=' part. Any chance someone could have a look ?

Yipee I got one for 6pm on Saturday - thought I hadn/t got one at first until i saw the Vip link on the left hand side of the account page !

Off to look through the directory now !!!

just rung customer services because a couple of the things ive ordered and are awaiting stock are now going to be reduced

the invites are being sent out over the next 24 hours so people might still get them although its doubtful

That's exactly how I managed to book my tesco delivery slots weeks in advance by fiddling with the url. I'm still hopeful for Next.:o

It's hard to explain :-)

Well if you go to your account page, and down the right hand side it has buttons for 'Make payment', 'Giftcard payment', etc, those people that have a VIP invite apparently have an extra link on there somewhere, which you can click in order to book your slot.

If you place the mouse over this link but don't click it, then at the bottom of your Internet Explorer window, in the status bar, it should show the URL behind the link.

If someone could tell us what that URL is, we could have a go at accessing it - you never know
