I didnt get to book a vip slot so have spent the last hour trying to add things to my basket without any success!
Am about to give up - why didnt I book a baby sitter and get up real early and brave the crowds?!!0 -

Awwww, poor you. I can't even access the Next website this morning. To be honest I find with the Next sale that the staff bring out more and more stuff as the racks clear over the first day, so you can still get great bargains later in the day, or the next day. And after queueing (with my Mum, in shifts  ) for 2 and a half HOURS on the first day of the Next sale at Lakeside a few years ago, I'd leave it until later anyway.0 -
I'm usually a Lakeside gal too but couldnt bear it today with a buggy and we're off to Ireland tomorrow to see the in laws and they live in the back of beyond so no chance there either!!
Have so far secured a Peppa Pig umbrella - yay!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
Oh dear - havent secured the brolly its out of stock!
Think I'll give in and see whats left when we get back from Ireland!
Happy bargain hunting everyone - I havent the patience!0 -
Well i queued up at 4.50am and there were 100 people in front of me and by 5am there were about another 150 behind me.
i got mainly baby clothes but really glad i did as have just tried the web site for a few other bits but cant seem to get anything in my basket!
i spend £180, spend 30 mins queuing to pay but was really worth doing. M&s across the road gave us all a free drink voucher to tempt us in to there shop afterwards.0 -

Sounds like the Teesside Park store, i was in M&S got free coffee voucher went upstairs saw queue at cafe and changed my mindNext nothing left girls 2-3 and heaving so left it was back home in less than 1 hr0 -
I got to the store at 7.00, huge store with not alot left in kids clothes, got a bag of stuff. Very badley organised as folk were queuing up and down and round the store and you got not get to the racks of clothes. When I had got my bag I spied a women I had spoken to earlier, she had been in the queue for 2hrs waiting to pay and was not even half way down when I joined. Decided it really was not worth queueing for 4 hrs or so to pay so came back home!
I cannot beleive the madness I have witnessed this morning, but at least I know now what madness the NEXT sale is. Got home just in time to call and place my sale order so not to bad, at least I can get a few bits.
Gonna head off to the smaller store by me tomorrow sometime and see what if anything they have. Anyone know when stores start taking returns again, this might be the best time to go me thinks.0
