I would repost in the Phones and TV section as there is a whole 1000+ post forum thread which deals with deals from Sky and if they are good or not, and how to get better if not.

Are you still in contract, if not maybe think of moving your Broadband (Using Top Cashback or Quidco) & if you can do without Sky for a time, think about putting a cancellation request in ?.

I have TV only with Sky (HD box, not Q) & cancelled when my 12 month contract was up on the 30.05.20.
After the cancellation had gone through, I had a few emails offering Sky Signature (I believe this is the new name for Box Sets) & Sky Sports both in HD for £27 per month, which I refused. I then had a couple of calls offering the same & a £50 credit on my bill, which I still refused. I was then offered, Signature HD, Sports HD, free upgrade to Sky Q with a 1tb UHD box & £50 credit off my bill for £25 per month with a one off £10 charge, which I then took.

If you're in contract, you're stuck with the charges, unless you downgrade some of your package.

I'm no longer with Sky, but would always haggle with them for TV. If you handed in your notice, you could usually get 50% off before your month's notice finished.
