There's definitely no 'a' in 'definitely'.

Thank you guys for all your reply, I got the picture on here now of the road as I was driving straight ahead and the cyclist came so fast from my right side of the road. I hope this is enough to give you an idea.
I think we can understand the set-up, but we're still not sure why you're asking us about it.
  • No visible markings suggesting you should stop or give way. Road to the right has a give way line across it which applies to cyclists. Is the road to the left no entry except cycles on a cycle lane?
Was the cyclist injured and if so do the police have an opinion?
Can you copy and paste the http for the google maps image.

Yeah the road to the left is no entry except cycles on a cycle lane. As that's where he was heading.
Sorry, but I can't send google images as I'm fairly new user on here. It doesn't allow me.

I’m not sure if you have already, if so then feel free to ignore me! But if you haven’t then I would strongly advise you to speak to your insurer about this.
If the cyclist approaches a solicitor to claim for injuries your insurer will find out anyway, but if they already have your version of events on file they will be in a better position to defend your claim and investigate properly. It will also help them control any potential injury costs if they are prepared as they can start managing the claim as quickly as possible.

Again, if you already have let them know then completely ignore me, but they will be best to give you advice in this situation, as this is what you pay them for, and they are the experts in the matter

I would like to know if I was at wrong or not even though I still had right of way since he is vulnerable cyclist and will I be able to win the case if he is going to file a claim on me.

I spoke to my insurance and they are being very mysterious about it and telling me to wait until they hear the rest of the story from the police, I feel like they don't believe my words.

No mystery, they're keeping an open mind.

Last people in the world to talk to about liability... the police have no training at all in civil law (some would argue their training in criminal law even isnt that brilliant) and so you are basically asking basically asking some random guy down the pub. Even committing a criminal offence (eg speeding or driving without a licence) doesnt automatically equate to fault under civil law.
  • Apparently, my insurance already put me at fault in worst case scenario and an outstanding money will go to the cyclist if he pursue to claim, is that normal to do knowing the law?

You'd need to be a little clearer on what you/they mean.

Worst case will always  be you are found at fault and in all claims a prudent reserve is established as part of an insurance company's obligations in ensuring they have enough available funds to pay their claims.
