Talk Talk £60 Moving Home Charge Or Pay More per Month.

Hey Guys,
Wanted to ask you as I had a 1hr and a bit long chat with talk talk customer services and it just crashed. Person stoped responding...
So where we got to was ( Been with talk talk for more then 5 year and have moved two houses. ) Finally brought my own house and wanted to move the services to the new place. I have 10 months left in my current contract. It is fibber +.
I was told I need to either pay £60 moving fee.
Or upgrade the services to a current promotion which is basically what I have now but paying close to £8 extra per month.
I am so disappointed, charging customers extra to stay on the same contract? I mean come on. With Vodafone current offer I'll be paying less then what I'm paying right now....
Is this correct? Can I get out of the contact early. It's not even about the money really, it's just upsetting.
Thanks for any and all advice in advance.

Your contract is at the current address no place else .(See multiple identical questions all ISps .)So pay off the remaining ten months of the contract .You are then free to choose new provider or a new deal .Moving the same Contract ISPs usually want you to start a new contract .As with all these home moves you work out the cost of paying off a valid contract against any potential savings .0

It will have been in the small print of your contract with them that you never bothered to read?
17 MOVING HOUSE
17.1 If you’re moving house and want to continue using the services, you must tell us at least 14 days before so we can cancel your old service. Further important information is available on our moving home page (www.talktalk.co.uk/movinghome), including that we may need to start you on a new contract and there may be an additional charge.
17.2 We’ll try our best to transfer the services but, if we can’t transfer some or all of them, and any are in the minimum period, you may have to pay the charges to the end of the minimum period.
