It's pretty straightforward to download and activate Microsoft software using the product key. See: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/download-and-install-or-reinstall-microsoft-365-or-office-2019-on-a-pc-or-mac-4414eaaf-0478-48be-9c42-23adc4716658.ellectrastar said:Thanks all. Had a look at eBay and pretty much all the cheaper sellers had zero feedback!!
Don’t fancy following any links sent to me but not sure where you’d enter a product key on the MS website as it says a download link is only available after purchase??
Might check out Libre Office. Seems it’s compatible with Word and Excel documents so may be the way to go.
I can also second Libre Office as a free open-source alternative. The only issue I had with LO was the constant minor changes to formatting when I was swapping between my home and work PCs as they are very similar, but not exactly the same. Other then that its does pretty much everything Word does0
