  • ElephantBoy57 are these floaters dark and mobile? Sometimes people can develop a visual aura with or without migraine headache. They come generally starting in the periphery of your vision and move round centrally. They block your vision and can last between 2-30 minutes. Sometimes you can get nausea and headache after and sometimes not.
No not dark. It started with a small arc off center, which was glittery, it was moving, not easy. to explain. It then seemed to be blurry on the outer edge, lasted around 20 minutes at most.
A female friend mentioned her migraine sight aberrations, sounded quite different.

    Hi Elephant boy,
I would out money on this being a migraine aura. A 'scintillting scotoma' which starts in the mid periphery and looks like kaleidoscopic coloured fringed white zig-zags. It arches around the vision and then dissipates. Blocks vision while there and can last up to half an hour.

Google visual aura migraine and look at the images.

    My best guess
