Driving - floaters

None of those replying, including me, know what form your floaters actually take, how intrusive, how persistent... We all have different ideas of what a floater might be like. You need to get checked by a professional who actually examines your eyes, not take advice from strangers on an internet forum.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.1

Yes if you cannot drive you cannot work but you don't want to be driving up to 44 tonnes of vehicle when you can't see. If you are truly a professional you'd not even contemplate it, if you're a steering wheel jockey or a Tang you'll crack on and not give a toss whether you end up hitting someone.

I had my eye test today. I don't need to wear driving glasses and my eye health is ok.When I took the test I was looking at the small letters on the chart, I could read some but not others, on that one line. Had I not been able to read any letters, glasses would have been a legal requirement.I did buy some driving glasses, but legally I do not need to wear them.

Although the optician found no issues, I have had blurred spots twice this month. I could still see, I could read a car number plate, the blur was not in my main field of vision. Before my eye test, the opticians said that she was going to put drops in my eyes, prior to the test. She ended up not doing that.

ElephantBoy57 are these floaters dark and mobile? Sometimes people can develop a visual aura with or without migraine headache. They come generally starting in the periphery of your vision and move round centrally. They block your vision and can last between 2-30 minutes. Sometimes you can get nausea and headache after and sometimes not.

It then seemed to be blurry on the outer edge, lasted around 20 minutes at most.A female friend mentioned her migraine sight aberrations, sounded quite different.
