Free netflix after buying tv from argos

I bought a smart TV from argos last year. Never hooked it up to Internet until last week when I was astonished to find it has someone else's netflix account on it.
I can now get free netflix!
I've seen previous posts about Argos passing off used goods as new but is that legal?
What about leaving the previous owner's email address, name and netflix account still on it? I don't suppose they'll be too happy either, especially if I buy a few movies!
What should I do now?
I can now get free netflix!

What should I do now?Delete their details and move on?That's the issue with people wanting so many consumer rights. I would guess someone bought the TV, set it up, didn't like it, repackaged it and sent it back to Argos saying it hasn't been used and they want a refund.

Thanks for your input but I don't agree. If you bought a new car then got it home and found it already had 1000 miles on it would you just ignore that?powerful_Rogue said:Pitcaple said:I bought a smart TV from argos last year. If I wanted a used tv I could have bought one from ebay cheaper than the new price I paid.
It doesn't look like the previous owner just used it once then sent it back as there are 4 different identities on his netflix account all with viewing history.0 -
The 4 identities are linked to 1 Netflix account and the viewing history from all of their devices (phones, PCs, tablets) will be shown. It is certainly possible that the TV was returned after the initial setup, as suggested above.Pitcaple said:

Your problem is you bought the TV last year so it'll be very difficult to try and get Argos to take the TV back now given that you've had ample time to sort this out. Unless there's specially a fault with the TV then I'd just delete the Netflix account details and carry on using the TV.Pitcaple said:I bought a smart TV from argos last year. What outcome do you want?1

You've got free Netflix. Some people would call that a bonus.1

Until the owner changes the password1
-
You can't buy movies on Netflix, all content is available without any additional charges.3

What's that got to do with anything?0
