There you go, if you have already paid, as I had paid, ignore 🤬 a message to say we've been having payment issues might have been more appropriate rather than saying ignore
If they told you to jump off a bridge would you? Just think for the sake of taking just a couple of minutes to check your statement then you could have avoided all of this.
At least we now know why you ended up in a mountain of debt it took you years to get out of if this is how you administer your finances. You need to start to get your act together or you'll be back in the same boat again.

I know your only trying to help, thank you, it still isn't right for a company to do this to people, they had 7 days to txt me to say payment hasn't gone through, but left it until the last day to say if you've paid ignore this message, doesn't make sense, but I am bothered about my score I've built it up quite nicely, I've struggled to pay off 40k in debt, I didn't take no iva or help, as not to effect my score, to have a company undo my hard work over £11.67🤦‍♂️ I'll take it as far as I can, I'll leave negative reviews, I won't stop, that is unless my score comes back ineffected, peace 👌👍
Just so I understand this, you've had loads of debt and gone through hell to repay it, and then you then have a horrible time dealing with companies to borrow money you didn't need to borrow.
Now the thing you are most worried about is that this may have affected your ability to get more debt in the future...?

Pretending for a second that the score is valid, why would you want to have a good score to get more debt??! Clearly it hasn't helped you!

I avoid credit wherever I possibly can, and therefore couldn't care less what my score is....
I'm a self employed taxi driver, and cars do not last a lifetime, when you car reaches the end of the road you need to buy one no less than 5 years old, for finance I need a good score to be accepted on a low rate,  the lower the rate the lower I need to earn a month to pay back the finance and live comfortably without having to work harder to pay for it, the difference on say £5000 @ 21% monthly payments is considerably higher than 8% what I've been offered lately with the score I have.

    You don't need finance.

Rather than paying £X/month for a loan, pay for the car upfront and then pay yourself £X/month into a savings account. That way when it comes time to replace the car, you have the money.

Break the cycle of using loans.

I don't have money to buy a car outright like that, I'd be happy to pay £160 for a month over 3 years to do the job I do, rather then the £200 a month over 5years I'm paying now. I want to start enjoying my life now and not when I retire, so the less outgoings I have the better money I have coming in and can take more breaks or holidays in the year, its a long story about my finances, but I was just starting to feel like everything was falling into place nicely, I will see what happens to my score next month and the ability to get a loan and on what rates🤦‍♂️

    Couldn't agree more mate.

I would therefore concentrate of paying off the current loan as quickly as possible (just as you did to amazingly clear £40ks worth!) and get that car finance gone, then you've broken the cycle. You can now pay yourself that loan payment each month and never have to worry about taking another loan. As and when you need to replace the car, you can use as much or as little of your car savings pot as you like, knowing it's given you access not only to the amount you were borrowing, but also on the amount you were spending on interest to the finance companies.

Reducing your monthly outgoings on the car from £160 to £0 sounds like it would be very welcome :)

My wife missed a payment a few months back. It showed on her Experian report but it didn’t affect her score, which has been 999 for months. Since then she got the 0 pc finance on Argos garden furniture no problem. I’m sure one late/missed payment will have little or no effect as others have mentioned.
Fantastic effort in clearing the 40k debt by the way.

I can’t see evidence of them telling you that you had paid. You have a txt that says “....If you’ve already paid....”. You thought you had paid but the money was never received by the recipient.

You need to provide the evidence from your bank showing that you sent the payment to the correct account and let the investigation begin..... There is little point in ranting and raving about this - on the scale of things, it’s not that big a deal, there are far worse things going on in the world right now! Hopefully, this’ll be a lesson to not take credit when you don’t need it.

Maybe it wasnt a big deal for you, but for me it was, no I didn't need the credit but I wanted to improve my score further, that's all it was, I won't be using klarna again that's for sure, but thankfully it's all sorted 👍
