Vodafone extended my broadband contract from 18 - 24 months

I signed up for Vodafone broadband, via MSE, in April 2020 for an 18 month contract. This was the term displayed on MSE offer, on Vodafone's sign up page, and confirmed by my welcome letter.
I have just received a letter from Vodafone stating "unfortunately, due to a technical issue, the minimum contract term was incorrect on the service confirmation letter we sent you when you ordered. Just to confirm, the minimum term for your broadband service is 24 months"
Can Vodafone enforce this?

Is it very cheap and worthwhile having the extra 6 months .

I imagine that since it changes the conditions you agreed to, you would be able to leave without penalty as long as you complain within 4 weeks.I'm not sure you can force Vodafone to uphold the 18 months though.0
