flight cancelled and wont rebook for same day can i claim compensation ??

I booked a short trip to Prague for 26th March for two nights, i was contacted by Bargains Holidays who i booked with on 21/3 and told i had to change the dates as they could not refund ,i checked my travel insurance and no cover so in panic i changed the date to  October 2020. Bargain holidays have now called me to say the flight has been cancelled and cannot offer the same day to fly out and return, can i make a compensation claim as i cannot change my dates ?
