Urgent help needed re: Spain package holiday

Thanks for all the advice.
i have cancelled and Just praying that I can get the £750 back through insurance (managed to negotiate the £150 “cancellation” fee).
it is a package and so I thought that I would be entitled to the whole thing back but apparently it doesn’t work like that if the flight portion of the package is still going ahead? ryanair are being very naughty really.

and in answer to the point about schools being closed, yes they are closed at the moment for the school holidays but the plan is for them to be fully reopened on 4th September. Whether that actually happens or not obviously we are unsure but I have to be in the country and able to go to work on 4th (the day after I was due to return). Even if we go into another lockdown I’ll be required to go in and care for the children of key workers
