On 1 September, England's best online grocer (OCADO) joins forces with M&S ( arguably the best and certainly the longest-serving quality food retailer ).
It is a wonderful venture. Ocado, voted Best Online Grocer for the past few years, sells all manufacturers' products and its own-brand delicious goodies. M&S are better known, a national institution, and their brand has always been brilliant over many decades.
If you're one of the vast majority of shoppers who have always admired M&S food, but have never tried Ocado, I strongly recommend that you give Ocado just one single trial run when it joins up with Marks. You won't lose much by having one delivery and you may find a whole new Aladdin's Cave, especially if you are like some of us who dislike trekking round crowded and noisy supermarket aisles. I really believe that online food shopping is the way the future will develop-----and, if so, the Ocado/M&S combo looks unbeatable.

Have you considered a career in advertising
TBH Ocado's reputation seems to have taken a dive during COVID 19 due to an inability to adapt and expand their service. I've read threads from existing Ocado customers who found it very difficult to get any kind of delivery slot and if you were an infrequent or potential new customer you were persona non grata.9 -
and add to that M&S high prices, it's a non starter.0

I'm amused by the suggestion that people might be EXCITED at anything to do with online grocery shopping.

OP has shares in Ocado.
Not that I'm suggesting his opinion, as posted, isn't honestly held.2 -
I cannot wait ! I have a tab with Ocado open and refresh every day until September deliveries come up.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. love m&s food. never get much chance to go there though, because m+s here is in the town centre and I'm allways working when they are open. so what the o/p is suggesting could be good for me.1
