Declaring indirect neighbour issues

I'm thinking about putting house back on the market, tried to sell previously but it all collapsed. Not really relevant but I know one thing from the form you have to declare any issues with neighbours.
Does it only have to be direct issues with neighbours you have? The reason I ask is that two of my neighbours don't get on and they have had a rather public bust up a few few nights ago - police called, one charged. I actually get on really well with the neighbour who was charged, the other neighbour is a bit of a knob. However I haven't had any direct falling out with him so as far as I'm concerned there isn't any issue. Just want to make sure there would be no comeback.

Hi. The best thing would be to download a copy of the TA6 form and take a look at the question. The wording is “ Have there been any disputes or complaints regarding this property or a property nearby? If Yes, please give details:“
So, was the dispute the other night about a nearby property? If so, declare it. If it was about one of them stupping the other one's wife, you probably don’t have to declare it, but you should ask your solicitor, not a load of people on a forum. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?4 -
I think the question is misleading. It talks about disputes and complaints regarding property, but it probably means more than that and includes the sort of scenario GDB222 refers to.Also, there is no definition of 'nearby.' In the estate where I used to live, nearby wouldn't have included incidents in a road 200m away, yet here in the countryside it might easily include people living that distantly. Finally there's no time limit. I fell out with a loony who lives about 150m down the lane 10 years ago, but I am now on nodding and basic greetings terms with said person, so would I have to declare our former dispute? He said I had no right to sell tomatoes from my own property, which I found amusing rather than upsetting, but he involved Environmental Health, so there is a record of what transpired.2

Thanks for the replies. The neighbour I get on with is 3 doors along and the other neighbour a few more doors along, so not sure how 'nearby' that is.
I sort of know the ins and outs of what it's about but it's all a bit one-sided given I only talk to one of them. Nothing to do with the property itself, just the two of them don't get along. GDB2222 you're not far off the mark as to why3 -

As it was a personal issue, I would also not declare it.0

The phrasing of this particular question keeps changing. I remember it used to be your direct neighbours either side......when I sold 18mts ago I only remember that the phrasing meant I didn't have to specify the morons who lived adjacent but not in my road which was a relief.I think unless they are doing this nightly or even every fortnight it might be different but if it was a one off I wouldn't put it. But asking the solicitor helps. They are on your side and they've had practise. If any buyers look at the crime map for the area they might spot it but it's not an easy site to find and a one off incident there wouldn't make a difference. It's only if there are repeated ones. I used this and found what appeared to be a lovely quiet area had a nut case just a few doors up that caused a disturbance on a regular basis. Ex colleague move in so I'll be interested to see what they found.
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

Ask estate agent or solicitor. You are paying them to give you advice on these matters.0
