Moving Home - Post Office Broadband

Hi. Wondering if anyone else has had any experience of moving home with Post Office Broadband? I am in 6 months in to my current 12 month contract, and wanted to port the contract to the new address with the same terms and expiry date. Just called, and they told me I need to sign up to a new 12 month contract, at a higher price. This cannot be correct.
Trying to go back over the old paperwork to find out - but if anyone has any experience of the same or similar, it would be much appreciated.

Yes its correct for many ISPs .Your contract is only for current address you are breaking the contract not PO.See multiple identical posts .Choice cancel contract and pay the remaining months .Or sign up to a new contract .Or pay off and find a beter service/ deal on new home .0

This cannot be correct. If you move your existing Service or if you amend your Service (eg Fibre Broadband downgraded to Broadband) to your new address, any remaining Minimum Term under your existing Agreement will be cancelled. A new Minimum Term will apply to your Service from the date the Service goes live at your new address.
Clearly PO Broadband is taking the view that a new minimum term means a new agreement (presumably at whatever the prevailing cost is) although this doesn't seem to be stated in section 15.
