Hmm.....odd - there are definitely no quotes on the ISIN cell on my sheets and mufunds works fine......not sure about investment trusts as I use GoogleFinance for shares - to be fair, the creator of mufunds recommends using GoogleFinance for shares/ITs/ETFs anyway.....https://mufunds.com/compatibility.html
For anyone who prefers "local" spreadsheets, there is a similar extension for Libreoffice Calc - Financial Market Extension - https://github.com/cmallwitz/Financials-Extension - does pretty much the same thing but has a few more data options......I only have an old version of Excel, so don't really use that any more, but I expect that there will be something similar for that too.
That might be the solution for me. I'm currently using a python script using selenium to scrape the data and output it to a csv file, but this seems like overkill.
