I'm picturing hotel guest house proprietors all over the country playing musical beds. Bed in, bed out, bed in, bed out. And I wonder where they store all those unwanted beds.....

So, there you go, absolutely everything listed apart from a bed. 

Not quite everything.  If you get back to the room after dark you might want to have a torch as I don't see that any lights are mentioned.  Light of course won't be a problem in the morning as curtains aren't listed.  Then again, there's no mention of a window either so perhaps take the torch just in case!

That's absolutely insane, I think they're (badly) covering up an error.

Yes, I think you are right.
I guess it is tough for them to know how to sort it. 
They took a daft approach and I am happy to ridicule them.
Had they said they mad a mistake, I might have been open to correction, or they could have found I took the " tough luck" response.
I will certainly do a Trip Advisor report in a fortnight and link here.

This could be the Mon Ami in Weymouth who have those facilities and have an extra per night charge for an extra bed, not for the 'first' bed. It couldn't be a small double or a budget double if there wasn't a double bed in the first place. Am I getting warm in this game of guess the accommodation?
