The scheme helps small and medium-sized businesses to borrow between £2,000 and up to 25% of their turnover. The maximum loan available is £50,000.

Even if the OP did have a UK bank account, they would probably have been rejected anyway, after a default was flagged up when the credit check was run on the feeder account application, which is a prerequisite for the BBL application.

I was making the point that opening a business bank account without a personal credit check being performed is quite quick and easy.

The accounts I highlighted offer direct debit facilities and most, perhaps all, will be up and running within a few hours of opening.

However, as you speculate, I suspect the OP's application for a bounce back loan would be rejected.

I have a tide account which tide stopped doing it. I'm looking for a bank who doesn't need an account to work for BBLS. Please notify me.

This would probably be better as a new thread, but others have suggested that HSBC are offering a feeder account if you don't have an HSBC business account.
