Parking ticket

Parked at Bond Street pay and display in Blackpool.
My partner and I after having to stay in because of the virus, we went for a drive. We parked in the only parking bay between two cars.we paid for two hours. We came back early to find a parking ticket on the window. The reason said ( Not parking correctly within the markings of the bay.) my partner needed space as he has to new hips and finds it difficult to get out of the car. If we were on the line it would have been a fraction. By the way the same cars were still parked each side. We had coursed no problem. Please can someone help as money out of our pension is a lot.
Thankyou

you could read the newbies thread at the top of this forum and appeal it as keeper, using the blue text templatethis appeal will be rejectedwe do not advise an IAS appeal , not at allthere is no easy getout, only a judge can decide your fate , within 6 yearsit may be a sc@m, which it is , but its an unregulated industry and you have fallen into their bear trap2

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP., it can cause the scammer extra costs, and in some cases, cancellation.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up later this year,
Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these companies, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Hi, I informed NE parking my new address in September 2020, I received a letter today from Gladstone solicitors [ who are working for NE parking] telling me they had to do a Experian trace on me for my new address. can they do that shortly its Data Protection0
-
Email the DPO at NE Parking with a data rectification notice , attaching copies of 2 recent redacted utility bills as proof of I D under the GDPR law , telling them to erase the previous address , input the current one and ensure they and their contractor's all use the current address
They can definitely use a tracing service if they wish to do so2 -
Of course they can use a trace.
If they have used a trace even thought you told them of your address 6 months ago, the obvious question to ask them is WHY they needed to sue a trace. have they failed to update their records?3
