  • While this thread is about....Who shall I use on ebay now?

I have used Balloon and Gift a few times without problems, DHL never came on school run times and used to use PPD and was looking at Home Textiles....till now!

It will be used to send a buggy.

Got about a week till I will need to use it! Prefer doing it through ebay as I can see feedback, although I will go on recommendation. I like using DHL as they normally collect in the morning when dd1 is at school.

You can use parcelforce for £10.99 and drop off at your local Post Office if pickup times are an issue , thats if they have paid you via Paypal, just click the "print postage label" icon in your payal history
  • Thanks guys!

    Will probably try CouriersDirect.

Just received refund, from Hometextiles, says he is going back to parcelforce, parcels have been returned from TNT

Booked with Couriers Direct for collection taoday, hope this ones goes well
  • grrr to home textiles.

I had 5 items collected yesterday and fortunately they were delivered today.

Now, who do we use next?
I looked into MH Direct Couriers but I dont like the fact they use DHL who only offer one collection and one delivery attempt with further attempts resulting in additional charges.
So basically, if the person who the parcel is being sent to isn't home, then I am hit with an extortionate charge whereas with TNT/ Parcelforce there is 3 delivery attempts.

I really liked the service TNT offered. Parcelforce aren't bad either.

So, does anyone know any courier resellers offering TNT or parcelforce or any other ideas, apart from creating your own network of couriers and drivers?

Its 1 collection & 3 delivery attempts with MH Direct
  • Sorry, I was looking at the Scottish Highlands page for some reason and that is only one delivery attempt.

Does anyone know a better way of sending a package to the Scottish highlands that offers more than one delivery attempt?

Also has anyone had any past experiences with PayPerParcel. I would like to use them but they are charging 8.49 for the same service MH Couriers Direct is charging 12.99 for, so im a bit wary of things that are too good to be true.
