can you help , thought we had a thread that people added recipes to???
carnt find it, thanks0 -
Bananas - i accidentally discovered the other day, are fab if you slice them up, put them in a little roasting tin or the likes, a bit of butter, a sprinkling of brown sugar and top with a thin layer of puff pastry.
Stick in the oven until the pastry cooks and then tip out onto a plate when cooked (like it was an upside down cake......)
Serve hot with vanilla or chocolate Ice cream - its fab xxxSometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

Asda messed up and bought me double what I ordered, (only charged for what I ordered, however.) Happily most of it is for the store cupboard/ freezer but I do have more bananas and apples than I know what to do with! Any recipes/ suggestions would be welcome!0

Fruit salad? ;-)It's only numbers.0

dont keep them together for one thing - not sure which way round it is, but the one fruit causes the other to 'ripen' very quickly!
you can use eating apples to make apple pie, or any other apple dish! pies are not the prerogative of 'Bramleys'! and neither is apple sauce! the eating varieties make good pies too and need less sugar added!
Bananas can be peeled, cut in half and lolly sticks (or in my case bamboo chopsticks when I didnt have lolly sticks) inserted and frozen - then you have extremely healthy and delish lollies!0 -
