NOW SOLVED - Navigating the Forum (?sort=new stopped working)

This new fault concerns using the navigation at the top & bottom of the page:
Many forum users (not just those in competitions time) use the "?sort=new" on the end of the URL to navigate the forum in original date order:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/categories/competitions-time?sort=new
Clicking to go to page 2 (as illustrated above) should change the URL to:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/categories/competitions-time/p2?sort=new
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/categories/competitions-time/p2?sort=new?sort=new
The "?sort=new" is repeated and the page no longer displays in original date order.

From yesterday this has been messed up.
