    Right, I think I understand now!  So as things stand you have a booking but haven't actually paid any money for it, as you negotiated use of the FCC in lieu of a monetary deposit?  The Ts & Cs must make some sort of reference to what would normally happen if choosing to cancel long before the departure date, even if they don't have any specifics about using FCCs and so on?

    Did they offer cash refund or not?

    Like I said earlier, we need to know which cruise line it concerns, and also it would be very helpful to know when the upcoming cruise is for.  - what is the big secret VTMUA?
