We will continue to pay you until the 31st of July 2020:- 80% of your normal Salary based upon the previous two months furlough pay (less any required deductions for tax and National Insurance contributions) for both the months of June and July 2020. This amount will more than exceed any statutory redundancy package which would consist of statutory redundancy pay £1222.20, 2 weeks notice pay less deductions and no accrued holiday pay.
I was paid at the 80% Furlough rate at all times up until 31/07/2020 except when my Employer forced me to take 1 weeks Holiday in May and that week was paid at 100%.
I look forward to any advice you can give me.
Thank you so much0 -
What they have done is make you redundant in June with 2 weeks notice but just pretended that it is end July
The key will be have they uses furlough funding to cover the costs
This was 8 weeks net pay at 80% rather than 2 weeks net pay 100% + 2 weeks 100% gross + holiday
How much more does it come too?
I think they are hoping as this is more than you would have got you won't kick up a fuss.

not and I am not sure if furlough pay is taxed or not.
All I want is my Statutory Redundancy pay - it is not much really but with me it is more the principle of being paid this money rather than the amount.
Furlough Pay is Furlough Pay and it is NOT Statutory Redundancy Pay in my Book.
I am waiting for my Union to call me back before I contact my now ex-employer for my SRP.
