How to get PAC code from FreedomPop
Along with many others, I want to terminate my free plan with FreedomPop before it ends on 29th July. But, before I do, I wish to get the PAC code so that I can keep my number. But I have been having no success even following FreedomPop's own instructions for porting a number. I have texted PAC three times to 65075 but there is no reply. I have tried to sign into my account so that I could raise a ticket but, having forgotten my password, I need to reset it. If I ask for a code to be sent to my phone, nothing comes. If I ask for a link to be sent to my email the links arrive but they do not work. If I ring the 0113 887 0823 Customer number I reach a recorded message which does not seem to relate to FreedomPop.
I don't think I am being hopelessly incompetent because it would seem, from the Forum, that I am not the only one having these difficulties.
Does anybody know how to make contact with FreedomPop?

I have recently moved networks and the PAC code was generated within seconds of me sending the text. This was with EE though. I believe that providers have to send the PAC code through using this text service within a 2 hour period otherwise they are not playing by Ofcom’s rules.
If you are unable to reach Freedom POP by phone, have you tried contacting them via social media platforms?

Sounds like they are not playing ball...I had the same thing a few years ago trying to get a Pac code.
You should be able to do it by Text now its done through Ofcom and they could end up with a big fine for not obeying the rules.
I would try Facebook, Twitter one of them like ps3mint said.

Many thanks to ps2mint and sdduk for their replies.
As I knew that FreedomPop were not abiding by Ofcom's rules, I rang Ofcom and made a complaint. A very helpful person sent an email to FreedomPop asking them to provide me with a PAC. She said that FP were required to be in touch with me within 5 days. I did not need to wait that long. Within an hour or so I received an email from FP Support giving me the PAC code. No apology, but, at least I had what I needed. The useful Ofcom number is 0207 981 3040.0 -
I hadn't heard anything about something ending
Was this by text message, email, or something else?0 -

Thanks for the reply, but it doesn't actually answer how or what the firm has informed people.
Besides tbat, I thought some free deals ended a couple of years ago.0 -
Thank you, trying this as well0
