    You're conflating two separate points (but I can see why - my reply hasn't helped*) ... for a service then you do not have to use a Kia franchise. For a warranty claim then obviously you must abide by the terms of the warranty.

    * I responded on the basis of the OP's first post which talks about a service and MOT, not about a repair. It's only when I've read again that I've noticed that the quoted clause talks about repairs - this is not what the OP asked so they've quoted the wrong section of their warranty terms.
