Threatened with solicitors!

Just a bit of advice needed...my daughter ordered a bed from a company called swagger furniture in mid June. They took her money straight away but she had no correspondence from them regarding the delivery date. As she had heard nothing from the company for the next few weeks she emailed them to cancel the order, the very next day they replied saying the bed was en route and the courier would be in touch with a date and time. This did not happen so after a week she contacted swagger furniture again and asked where it was, this time the email she got back advised her that the bed was no longer in stock but would be back in stock in August, which she could wait for or cancel, so she opted to cancel, and asked for a refund, this took another two weeks and was only resolved when she phoned and spoke to someone who sorted it out straight away. Due to the poor service she received, she left a poor review, detailing truthfully her experience. Today she has had an email from this company saying they were passing the review onto their solicitors as it was defamatory and libelous. Can they do this as I have read through her review and what she has written is what happened. Also before this threatening email they had asked her to amend her review showing the matter had been resolved, which she was willing to do but could not do on the review site.
She is now a petrified 21 year old thinking she will be taken to court. Any advice gratefully received.

Probably nothing to worry about and is just a threat from the company. And if they do take it further then your daughter will have the email correspondence to back her up1

She should stop worrying unless and until she receives anything from solicitors (which I'm betting she won't). Leaving a bad (but truthful) review isn't actionable and I doubt the company will be wasting hundreds on legal fees.1

They can threaten whatever they like.
If the review she left is factual and polite/professional then that is fine.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)1 -
If I were your daughter I'd be leaving a review saying that the company are threatening to sue her for telling the truth. See how they like that. (I assume it is the truth?!)

She is not alone...0 -
A telling observation:ONLY READ AND TRUST THE REVIEWS THAT HAVE BEEN VERIFIED WITH A BLUE TICK!Apart from a very small number of positive verified reviews, all the other positive ones are not verified. And the vast majority of verified reviews are negative.0

Looks like a dropshipper working out of their back bedroom. She can safely ignore them.

Was the review your daughter left defamatory or libellous?0

I seen the review. It seems fine.
How did the company know who to contact over an anonymous review?0
