Why dont you get some favour vouchers, make them or buy them. Thats ticking off the papaer box and then you can fill the favours with whatever takes your fancy!

My OH had flowers delivered so it was more of a surprise.

He also did one of the fake newspaper pages that you can do on the web and get delivered - he went out in the morning and bought a paper and stuck the fake page on. He'd written up an article with a photo about our wedding day and all soppy bits in there too

Awwhh, you're so sweet!

You could make a memory box - maybe add some photos and little things that remind you of times important in your relationship. Then you could add an item to it each year in the future

My husband (among other things) wrote me a song for our first anniversary. Very romantic, very popular.

I thought you were supposed to get an eternity ring when you presented your husband with his first child? Not that I did, but that was a political decision.
